AMA are glad to see the refurbished former convent St Joseph’s House, in the Bruntsfield area of Edinburgh complete and occupied by Edinburgh University Students, in a new 230 bedroom student housing project by S1 Developments.
Congratulations to Andre Colbert, who today has qualified as AMA's first Certified Passivhaus Designer after an intensive training course. We are looking forward to putting Andre's valuable knowledge into practice as part of our ongoing commitment to creating genuinely efficient, comfortable and sustainable buildings.
AMA was delighted to see the grand opening of the new 255 bed Clayton Hotel last week, in the centre of Bristol City old town. As the key part of our mixed use Everards Printworks project for McAleer and Rushe on behalf of Artisan Real Estate, it is fantastic to see this formerly derelict city block regenerated to provide a new and engaging part of the City's old town.
AMA has a new name! Read all about why we decided to change and how this reflects the new culture which has developed since we became an Employee Owned Trust.
AMA became an Employee Owned Trust in April 2020 - right at the start of lockdown - when the company bought the shares from founder Allan Murray. There are almost 100 employee-owned businesses headquartered in Scotland and 500 in the UK. We are delighted to be joining them and starting a new era for AMA.
Planning Permission has been granted for our accommodation for Unite Students in Abbey Lane, Edinburgh
